A Perry man was arrested Friday on a Dallas County warrant in connection with events that occurred in late March in which he allegedly sexually molested a 10-year-old girl.
Jose Nevarez, 26, of Perry was charged with second-degree sexual abuse–child under 12 and lascivious acts with a child.
Nevarez is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $30,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing June 6 in Dallas County District Court.
