May 24, 2024

  • Shaylee Stockton, 25, of 917 E. Iowa Ave., Indianola, was arrested for probation violation.
  • Benita Obarcanin, 23, of 219 E. Grand Ave., Des Moines, was arrested for OWI and issued a citation for speeding.
  • Ellie Wilson pf Waukee was traveling in 23000 block of Iowa Highway 44 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $4,000.

May 25, 2024

  • Demarco Moore, 32, of 3200 Indianola Ave., Des Moines, was arrested for OWI, possession of a controlled substance, no valid drivers license, failure to display registration plate and driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway.
  • Christopher Meiners, 31, of 33244 K Ave., Adel, was arrested for eluding and driving while barred and issued citations for driving while suspended, failure to obey stop sign, three counts of fraudulent use of registration, no insurance, windshield and window requirements, failure to carry registration card and operation without registration card or plate.
  • Marcus Sanders, 37, of 20490 Greenfield Road, Detroit, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order.
  • Heather Beaudet of Bagley was traveling on Iowa Highway 141 near Austin Place when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,000.
  • Joanna Fullerton pf LuVerne was traveling on U.S. Highway 169 near the Dallas County Fairgrounds when her vehicle was struck from the rear by a vehicle, driven by Reyna Shirley-Brown of Minburn. No injuries were reported. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $1,500.

May 26, 2024

  • Michael Todd, 70, of 319 Jacob St., Grimes, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of OWI.
  • Eduardo Torres Aguilar, 30, of 1424-29 E. Virginia Ave., Des Moines, was arrested for providing false identification information and on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
