June 21, 2024
- Kelley Burgess of Waukee was traveling in the 27000 block of 240th Street when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by Alexandria Mobley of Panora. No injuries were reported. Damage to Burgess’ vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to Mobley’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Mobley was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
- Shawn Behken, 48, of 1398 138th St., Clive, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
June 22, 2024
- Kuku Kinapoe, 34, of 6516 Chaffee Road, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while barred.
- Russell Seibert, 25, of 2014 Center St., West Des Moines, was arrested for OWI and issued a citation for speeding and open container.
- Jay Wheeler, 63, of 19820 W Ave., Granger, was arrested for OWI and issued a citation for speeding.
- John Hill of Pella was traveling at the intersection of T Avenue and 240th Street when his motorcycle was struck by motorcycle, driven by Edwin Mann of Jewell. A passenger was transported by Dallas County EMS. Damage to both motorcycles was estimated at $1,000.
