A Waukee man was arrested Tuesday morning after allegedly assaulting a Waukee women in the home.
Laron Roy Anderson, 22, of 247 N.W. Prairieside Dr., Waukee, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness.
The incident began about 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of N.W. Prairieside Drive, where officers of the Waukee Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.
The officers made contact with the victim and observed on the victim “cuts to her left forearm,” according to court records.
The victim told the officers that Anderson allegedly “pushed her and gave her the scratches,” according to court records.
Anderson is held in the Dallas County Jail in advance or an initial appearance in the Dallas County District Court.
