- Hannah Hovenga of Ames was traveling in the 23000 block of W Avenue when her vehicle entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $4,000.
Aug. 1, 2024
- Tylor Witzel, 27, of 1520 60th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance, operating vehicle without owner’s consent and driving while barred.
- Tyreke Locure, 23, of 1427 E. Vine St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
