Eleven Perry scholars were among nearly 700 students who graduated during the 2024 summer semester commencement at the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Ankeny, Boone, Carroll, Newton, Urban and West Campuses.
DMACC graduates from Perry were:

- Azucena Tapia, Associate General Studies and Dental Assistant, Perry
- Nacheka Volcy, Nurse Aide, Perry
- Brandon Weddle, Nurse Aide, Perry
Scholars attaining the DMACC President’s List and DMACC Dean’s List for the 2024 summer term were also named this week. Four Perry scholars were named to the summer 2024 president’s list. To qualify for the president’s list, a student must have earned a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 during the term. Achieving the summer president’s list were:

- Lindsey Oblea, Business-Transfer, Perry
- Diana Okubay, Computer Information Systems, Perry
- Kaiden Summerson, Accounting Specialist, Perry
Six Perry scholars were named to the DMACC Dean’s List for the summer 2024. To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must have earned a grade point average (GPA) between 3.5 and 3.99. Making the summer dean’s list were:
