South 10th Street will be reduced to one lane between Iowa Highway 141 and to Pine Street Oct. 7-10 so workers can repair the concrete roadway, the Perry City Hall has announced.
Drivers are asked to avoid this area for the sake of the safety of Perry Public Works staff members.
Construction will be completed by Thursday, Oct. 10, weather permitting.
The project is part of more than 600 cubic yards of concrete — more than 1,200 tons — used this year to repair or replace roadways and sidewalks throughout the city by the Perry Public Works Department.

South 10th Street se reducirá a un carril entre Iowa Highway 141 y Pine Street del 7 al 10 de octubre para que los trabajadores puedan reparar la carretera de concreto, anunció el Ayuntamiento de Perry.
Se pide a los conductores que eviten esta área por la seguridad de los miembros del personal de Perry Public Works.
La construcción finalizará el jueves 10 de octubre, si el clima lo permite.
