Oct. 8, 2024
- Tabor Jorgenson of Ames was traveling on Iowa Highway 44 near 270th Street when his vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by a minor. No injuries were reported. Damage to Jorgenson’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000, and damage to the minor driver’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
- Ty Lovejoy of Winterset was traveling on U.S. Highway 169 near Overton Circle when his vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Brandon Pickett. Pickett was transported by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Pickett’s vehicle was estimated at $4,000, and damage to Lovejoy’s vehicle was estimated at $2000. Lovejoy was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
Oct. 9, 2024
- A minor driver was traveling on 340th Trail near Ute Avenue when the vehicle entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $11,000. The minor driver was issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way.
- Courtney Clark of Waukee was driving in the 31000 block of Ashworth Road when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,500.
Oct. 10, 2024
- Jason Green, 18, of 1125 S.E. Olson Dr., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
