Marking the four score and first anniversary of his birth, Dan Spellman of Perry treated his fellow members of the Society of Retired Experts (SORE) to rolls and coffee Friday morning at the Perry Perk coffeehouse in downtown Perry.
The shameless mendacity of the political ads now running, particularly the lying attack ads against Democrats Lanon Baccam and Christina Bohannan, were denounced by Spellman to the general if not unanimous approval of the group.
Adding to the festivities was the Women of Wonder’s rendition of the Birthday Song.
