- Shemar Mure, 21, of 2812 E. Diehl Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- A minor driver was traveling in the 12000 block of Iowa Highway 44 when the vehicle entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $6,000.
Oct. 19, 2024
- Jessie Ordonez Albino of Lincoln, Nebraska, was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 111 mile marker when her vehicle struck a tire in the roadway that fell off a trailer, pulled by Uriel Willis of Opelika, Alabama. No injuries were reported. Damage to Albino’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to Willis’ trailer was estimated at $500.
- Brandon Davis, 29, of 3560 E. Douglas Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft.
