A Clive man was arrested on a Dallas County warrant Wednesday in connection with an August incident in which he allegedly exposed his nudity to a child online.
Michael Lynn Scott, 54, of 3561 Berkshire Parkway, Clive, was charged with dissemination and exhibition of obscene materials to minors.
According to court records, the incident occurred Aug. 13, when Scott sent multiple images of himself and his nudity to a 14-year-old on a messaging app.
The victim “reiterated throughout the messaging conversation that he was 14 years old multiple times,” according to court records.
A warrant for Scott’s arrest was ordered Oct. 28 in Dallas County District Court and served Wednesday. Scott was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond in advance of an initial appearance in Dallas County District Court.
