Gavin Hegstrom of Jamaica made the fall 2024 Dean’s List at Simpson College in Indianola, the college recently announced.
To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must earn a semester GPA of 3.7 or better and take a minimum of 12 credit hours.
Hegstrom, a 2023 graduate of Perry High School, was one of only 200 students recognized for scholastic achievement in the fall term. The university has about 1,140 students.
Hegstrom also plays football for the Simpson Storm.
