A Woodward man was arrested Wednesday night after allegedly assaulting a Woodward woman in the home.

Kennedy Timothy Rice Larimer, 19, of 111 S. Main St., Woodward, was charged with domestic abuse assault, false imprisonment, second-degree harassment, obstruction of emergency communications, possession of a controlled substance and violation of a no-contact order.

The incident began about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of S. Main Street in Woodward, where a Dallas County Deputy Sheriff responded to a 911 caller who sounded distressed before hanging up.

The deputy made contact with the victim, who told the deputy that Larimer allegedly “took” the victim’s “phone and got in her face” in the course of a domestic dispute, according to court records.

The victim told the deputy that Larimer allegedly “put the phone in” the victim’s “face and pulled her hair while yelling at her” and also struck the victim’s “left leg, which left a small mark,” according to court records.

The victim told the deputy that Larimer allegedly threatened “to knock her out,” according to court records.

A search of Larimer’s person disclosed “a vape in his pocket”  with “THC oil,” according to court records.

Larimer is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $3,000 cash or surety bond. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Feb. 24 in Dallas County District Court.

Larimer was arrested in Woodward in December 2024 of charges of first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness, first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and violation of a no-contact order. The case is pending in Dallas County District Court.
