DES MOINES, Iowa — Adrian Thompson of Perry was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the Mercy College of Health Sciences at the end of the fall term, the college announced Monday.
In addition, three Perry students earned academic honors for the fall 2024 quarter and semester terms at the Mercy College of Health Sciences.
Emily Hernandez and Cassandra Maldonado were both named to the President’s List, and Samantha Robles made the Dean’s List at Mercy College.
To qualify for the Dean’s List, Mercy College students must attain a grade point average (GPA) between 3.50 and 3.749 for a minimum of six semester credit hours or four quarter credit hours in their most recent academic term.
To qualify for the President’s List, students must attain a minimum GPA of 3.75 for a minimum of six semester credit hours or four quarter credit hours in their most recent term.
Mercy College is the only Catholic college in central Iowa and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
