March 11, 2025
- Katherine Paola Alvayero Ramirez, 24, of 3307 McKinley St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving while revoked.
- Officers responded to a report of harassment in the 1300 block of Evelyn Street.
March 12, 2925
- Edwin Antonio Montes Mendez, 29, of 624 Third St., Perry, was arrested on charges of driving while barred and driving under suspension.
- Amanda Irene Nicolaisen, 45, of 1402 Evelyn St., Perry, was arrested on charges of diving under suspension, possession of an unlawful prescription medication and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- A 2018 Ford Escape, driven by Peggy McCLuen-Coleman of 803 Willis Ave., Perry, collided with a legally parked 2019 Ford F550, registered to Nikkel and Associates Inc. of Ames, in the 700 block of First Avenue. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $100.
- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 900 block of W. Second Street.
- A legally parker 2014 Toyota Sienna, registered to Aida Aracely Nevarez of 203 Lucinda St., Perry, was struck by an unknown vehicle in the 500 block of First Avenue. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $500.
March 13, 2025
- Officers responded to a report of assault in the area of Warford and W. Eighth streets. An extra patrol was assigned.

- Elmer Armando Rodriguez-Pu, 22, of 2002 Second St. Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
- Abba Sheriff, 30, of 2506 Perry Park Ave., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for probation violation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
March 15, 2025
- Devon James McMumm, 18, of Bagley was arrested on a charge of fith-degree theft.
- Lisbeth Julissa Ramirez Sanchez, 25, of 1416 Highview Dr., Perry, was arrested on a charge of first-offense OWI.
- A property-damage accident was reported in the 400 block of Second Street. The case is under investigation.
March 16, 2025
- Dakota Wylie Armstrong, 31, of 1715 Vine St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of violation of a no-contact order.
- Tamra Jean Mills, 45, of Rippey was arrested on charges of third-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia
- Kaidyn Mikel Wise, 21, of Des Moines was arrested on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia
- Devin Ray Smull, 29, of Des Moines was arrested on a charge of first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana.
- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Fifth Street. The dispute was verbal only.
- Officers responded to a report of assault in the 600 block of Third Street.

- Richard James Hoesing, 75, of 2615 Lucinda St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of first-degree murder-premeditated.
March 18, 2025
- Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct in the 1200 block of Second Street.
