May 23, 2025
- Alicia Ofelt, 38, of 2530 Long Ave., Van Meter, was arrested for driving while revoked and issued a citation for no registration and violation of conditions of restricted license.
May 24, 2025
- Matthew Cornelison, 30, of 13710 L Pl., Perry, was arrested for domestic abuse assault, OWI, reckless driving and two counts of fifth-degree criminal mischief.
- James Smith of Bagley was traveling on 195th Street near Second Street in Minburn when his vehicle entered the ditch and struck a pole and tree. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle and trailer it was towing was estimated at $30,000. Damage to the pole was estimated at $500, and damage to the yard was estimated at $100. Smith was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
- Ewon Gusanu of Lincoln, Nebraska, was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 111 mile marker when his vehicle collided with a vehicle driven, by Marco Pintor Ceha of Winterset. No injuries were reported. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $20,000 each.
May 26, 2025
- Aldin Rekic, 36, of 1000 S.E. 11th St., Grimes, was arrested on a warrant for domestic abuse assault, child endangerment and 13 counts of violation of a no-contact order.
- Robert Wallace, 61, of 442 N. 10th St., Adel, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
