A Waukee woman was arrested Saturday after she allegedly assaulted a Waukee man in the home.
Precious Ephraim Pott-Pepperman, 43, of 161 S.E. Booth Ave., Waukee, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault-display or use of a weapon and child endangerment.
The incident began about 10:15 p.m. Saturday at a residence in the 100 block of Booth Avenue, where officers of the Waukee Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.
The officers made contact with the victim, who told the officers that Pott-Pepperman allegedly struck the victim with an object that “caused a welt-like mark on” the victim’s “left shoulder area,” according to court records.
The victim told the officers that Pott-Pepperman then “obtained a kitchen knife and had him cornered in the living room area” and “was threatening” the victim “”with that knife with the child present,” according to court records.
Video from a doorbell camera allegedly shows Pott-Pepperman when she “punches” the victim “in the head/neck area,” according to court records.
Pott-Pepperman is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $2,000 cash or surety bond. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing June 25 in Dallas County District Court.
