The extreme weather forecasted for Saturday has led the Dallas County Democrats to cancel the summer cook-out planned for Wiese Park, where Sen. Sarah Trone Garriot and others were set to speak.
In spite of the heat, the Perry-Area Democrats said they will still hold their weekly protest rally at noon at the Big Bike at First and Willis avenues.
