Aug. 8, 2025

Amber Boyd, 30, of 102 W. Finley Ave., Ottumwa, was arrested for Driving While Barred, OWI, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, interference with official acts, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while barred and issued a citation for speeding.

Cung Te of Perry was traveling on Iowa Highway 141 near T Avenue when he reached for something on the floor and over-corrected the vehicle, causing it to roll. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $39,700. Te was issued a citation for failure to maintain control, no insurance and speeding.

Raianthony Harris of Urbandale was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 117 mile marker when her vehicle by struck by a vehicle, driven by Levi Dehne of South English. Harris’ vehicle in turn collided with a vehicle, driven by Nicole Scar of Earlham. Harris was transported by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Scar’s vehicle was estimated ay $8,000. D to Harris’s vehicle was estimated at $20,000, and damage to Dehne’s vehicle was estimted at $5,000 damage. Dehne was issued a citation for following too close.

Aug. 9, 2025

An unknown driver was traveling on W Avenue near 190th Street when the vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000. The vehicle was owned by Winston Stewart of Des Moines.

Aug. 10, 2025

Josie Nielsen of West Des Moines was traveling on Silverado Lane near Nappa Velley Drive when her vehicle struck a guardrail and overturned into the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $10,000, and damage to the guardrail was estimated at $500.

John Moyle, 42, of 1614 Thomas St., Redfield, was arrested on a warrant for domestic abuse assault and obstruction of emergency communications.

Danielle Peterson, 32, of 1309 S. Linn St., Boone, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
