A Granger man was arrested Thursday after he allegedly assaulted a Granger woman in the home.
Ignatius Awa Kum, 42, of 1598 Linden St., Granger, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault.
The incident occurred about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday at a residence in the 1500 block of Linden Street, according to court records, where Kum allegedly engaged in “shoving the victim onto the bed” and then “grabbed her by the neck and stated that he would kill her,” according to court records.
Officers of the Granger Police Department “did not observe any visible injuries” on the victim’s person, according to court records.
Kum was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $300 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a pretrial conference Oct. 15 in Dallas County District Court.
