The Perry Chamber of Commerce welcomed the Trey Sucher Law Firm to town Thursday morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at their new office, located at 1113 Second Street.
“We are excited to be in Perry,” Sucher said. “We think this is a great opportunity for us and we look forward to being a part of the community.”
Sucher will continue to work out of his main office in West Liberty, with Tim Farmer to handle local duties. He and wife Dina have one child and are expecting another.
The pair specialize in immigration law and in issues involving the meat-packing industry, Sucher said, noting that in West Liberty many of his clients work for a plant that supplies turkey for Subway restaurants.
Sucher and Farmer are graduates of the University of Iowa School of Law. Both are fluent in Spanish.
Farmer and his wife, Mindy, have already relocated to Perry. They have four young children, two of whom are enrolled at Perry Elementary School.
“I am already enjoying living in Perry,” Farmer said. “The community has been very welcoming and I look forward to meeting many of the residents.”
