Pet owners living within the city limits of Perry whose cats and dogs are six months of age or older are reminded to obtain or renew their annual pet licenses by Sunday, Jan. 31.
Licenses for 2015 expired Dec. 31.
Licenses for 2016 can be purchased at the McCreary Community Building, 1800 Pattee St.
The fee is $5 for altered animals and $20 for non-altered animals.
A late fee of $5 per license will be assessed beginning Feb. 1.
Owners must show proof of a pet’s rabies vaccination in order to obtain a license.
Yearly passes for the Perry Dog Park are also available at the McCreary Community Building.
The annual Perry Dog Park fee is $20 for the first dog and $10 for each additional dog, with a limit of three dogs.
Perry residents must have a current pet license in order to purchase a dog park permit.
Day passes are also available for $2 per dog.
