CARLISLE — A medalist winning card of three-over par 38 was turned in by Perry’s Noah Wilkening Tuesday to help lead the Bluejays past Carlisle and Bondurant-Farrar at Copper Creek Golf Course.
Perry finished with a 172 to easily edge both Raccoon River Conference foes, as Carlisle turned in a 190 and B-F a 191.
Wilkening had three bogeys and six pars on his round to lead the charge for Perry. Kade VanKirk added a 43 and Jack Brosnahan a 45, with the team scoring either Will Whiton or Connor Nielsen’s identical scores of 46 for the team total. A 48 from Zach Roberts was not tabulated, nor were the junior varsity scores of 45 from Ryan Rathje or of 51 from Tanner Darr.
Carlisle was paced by a 42 from Nick Klier, with Garrett Wilson (46), Nate Gunther (50) and Nate Snyder (52) completing the scoring.
Dylon Storey had a runner-up round of 40 to lead B-F. Caleb Barnett (44), Christian VanWyk (53) and Caleb Olcott (54) also scored for the Bluejays.
Perry will play at the W-G Boys Invitational Thursday, with action to begin at 3:15 p.m. The Jays will then visit Lincoln Valley GC in State Center for the West Marshall Invite Monday, with teams to tee off at 8 a.m.
