- A caller said his weed eater was missing. An officer responded and started an investigation.
- A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said she was a victim of identity theft. An officer responded and started an investigation.
- A caller said a utility company contractor damaged his yard and sewer. An officer responded and told the caller “this was a civil issue and he should contact the company.”
- A caller said he received a telephone call from someone in Florida who claimed the caller “had a vehicle in his name that was a certain model.” The caller said he does not own such a vehicle. An officer responded and told the caller “there was not much that could be done as this was a scam, and it is hard to get evidence for these types of things.”
- A caller said he was removing license plates from a vehicle and some people “were yelling and screaming at him.” Officers responded and learned the caller “had signed the title of the vehicle over” to one of the yellers, and now he “wanted to take the license plates off of it as they were in his name.” The officers informed the yeller “she had 45 days from the date the title was signed over to her to get new plates for the vehicle.”
- A caller said there were “teenagers driving recklessly and speeding,” and “he yelled at them to slow down.” The caller said he feared for his playing children. An officer responded but did not find the reckless teens.
- A caller said he was scammed by “someone claiming to be a bondsman.” The caller said he was recently “bonded out” from a county jail by his mother. The fake bondsman claimed to be from the bonding company used by the caller’s mother and claimed the caller “owed them $800 in fees.” The caller gave the fake bondsman his mother’s “Social Security number, date of birth, previous addresses and credit card number along with the security code number on the back.” The caller said while he was on the telephone with the fake bondsman, his mother called the bonding company and was told “they had not called them, and this was a scam.” The caller said his mother was on the telephone with her credit card company and was in the process of cancelling her credit card. An officer responded.

- Hector Cardona, 22, 1414 Fifth St., #1, Perry, was arrested on charges of driving while barred and driving while suspended.
- David McAtee, 22, of Perry was issued citations for operation without registration and second-offense operation without insurance. The license plates on the vehicle were confiscated.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
