
Fun will be had, charities benefited and memories kept alive when the annual Trent Miner Parent/Child Tournament is played at the Perry Golf and Country Club August 14.
A 9 a.m. shotgun start will be held for the nine-hole portion of the tourney featuring youngsters 13 and under and their parent or guardian. Lunch will be held afterward, with the cost $10 per person.
Kids 14 and older and their parent or guardian will have a 1 p.m. shotgun start. They will also play nine holes, with a meal afterward. Cost for the second section of the tourney is $25 per person.
A charity auction will also be held. Those wishing to donate items or services for the auction may do so by contacting the Perry Golf and Country Club at 465-3852. Sign up is currently underway at the PG&CC clubhouse.
All proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish, the Trent Miner Foundation and other charities.
