- A two-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Nile Kinnick Drive S. and Greene Street in Adel. A vehicle driven by Adam Mitchell, 29799 240th St., Dallas Center, was facing westbound on Greene Street and waiting to turn southbound onto Nile Kinnick Drive S. when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Cody Coghlan, 16907 H Ave., Perry. Approximate damage to Mitchell’s Nissan Altima was $1,500, and approximate damage to Coghlan’s Kenworth Truck was $100. No injuries were reported. Mitchell was cited for failure to provide proof of liability, and Coghlan was cited for failure to stop in assured clear distance.

- A two-vehicle accident occurred in the 300 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. in Adel. A vehicle driven by Philip Hlas, 1301 Lynne Dr., Adel, was facing northbound on Nile Kinnick Drive S. and waiting to turn into a parking lot when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Charles Ruhland, 2565 110th St., Stuart. Approximate damage to Hlas’ Saturn Ion was $200, and approximate damage to Ruhland’s Nissan Altima was $2,000. No injuries were reported. Ruhland was cited for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
