The Perry cross country teams have been busy getting their legs — and lungs — into shape for the upcoming season.
Perry opens their 2016 slate with a visit to the Gilbert Invite (held at Iowa State University) Aug. 25 before visiting Winterset Sept. 6.
Veteran head coach Jeff Fox returns to guide the Bluejays, with Jim Prombo assisting, while Shaylena Bell assumes the mantle of Jayette head coach. She is assisted by Jennifer Sprung.
The annual Leon Fox Invitational will be held at the Perry Golf and Country Club Sept. 29, with the Bluejays and Jayettes hosting the Raccoon River Conference meet Oct. 10.
