- A two-vehicle accident occurred in the 26000 block of U.S. Highway 6 in Adel when a vehicle driven by Mary Krueger, 1504 Taylor St. in Redfield, stopped for utility work and was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Jeffrey Campbell, 1803 Greene St. in Adel. Damage to Krueger’s Toyota Rav4 was estimated at $8,000, and damage to Campbell’s Ford Fusion was estimated at $4,000. No injuries were reported. Campbell was issued a citation for failure to stop in a clear and assured distance.

- Jamison David Calligan, 45, 2303 Greene St., #5C, Adel, was arrested on a charge of violation of a no-contact order.
- Justin Ray Merical, 34, P.O. Box 26, Jamaica, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while barred.
- Stephanie Calligan, 1506 Main St., Adel, reported a burglary.
