
The IHSAA and IGHSAU have released the hosts sites for all four classes of cross country. Meets will be held Oct. 20, with Perry competing in Class 3A and Woodward-Granger and Panorama in Class 1A. In both classes, the top three team finishers and top 15 individual finishers at each site will advance to the state meet, which will be held Oct. 29 at Kennedy Park in Fort Dodge.
Perry will visit Atlantic for a meet that starts at 3 p.m. In addition to Perry and the hosts, other teams competing will be Boone, Carlisle, Clarke (girls only), Creston, DC-G, Denison-Schleswig, Gilbert, Glenwood, Harlan and Winterset.
W-G will run at the Ankeny Centennial meet, which will also begin at 3 p.m. A total of 27 boys and 26 girls teams will run at the event.
Panorama will host their meet, with 4 p.m. the starting time. Twenty-nine boys and 27 girls teams will navigate the course at the Panora Par 3 Golf Course.
Perry will be in action today (Monday) when they host the Raccoon River Conference meet at the Perry Golf and Country Club. The meet begins with the middle school races at 4 p.m.
