- A caller said “his boyfriend just assaulted him, and he wants to file charges.” An officer responded and found no assault but a “verbal argument which lead to slight bumping” that left “no marks. Both sides were advised to leave the other alone.”
- A patrolling officer of the Perry Police Department found a parked vehicle with its headlights on. The vehicle was unlocked, and the officer shut off the headlights.
- A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said his girlfriend was “threatening to harm herself.” An officer responded and spoke with the girlfriend, who said “she had been feeling suicidal this morning.” The officer transported the woman to Dallas County Hospital for a mental evaluation.
- A caller said two dogs were running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dogs.
- A caller from the Perry Elementary school asked whether an officer could assist “with a student out of control.” An officer responded and assisted with the third grader.
- A caller reported an abandoned bicycle. An officer responded and “transported bike to bike shed.”
- Stephanie Leigh Davis, 54, of Woodward was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for probation violation.
- A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. “with four baby kittens that she had caught.” The Humane Society of Perry was notified.
- A caller said “a man had been on fire, and it was put out.” Officers responded, and the Dallas County EMS was paged.
- A caller said someone was “blowing leaves out in the street.” An officer responded and found it was “just kids playing in the yard.”
- A caller said someone “threatened and harassed him.” An officer responded.
- A caller said her “ex” was “calling and threatened to kill her and has had her son since Friday.” An officer responded.
- A caller said “his keys just got stolen to his vehicle.” An officer responded.
November 2, 2016
- A caller said “her daughter has not returned home.” An officer responded, and a missing person/runaway form was completed.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
