December 28, 2016

  • Kristine Thomas of Adel reported identity theft in the 600 block of S. Sixth Street.
  • A female juvenile, 16, of Des Moines was arrested in the 800 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. and charged with unlawful possession of prescription drug, possession of Scheduled II controlled substance.

December 29, 2016

  • Kum & Go, 409 Nile Kinnick Dr. S., reported a theft. Items were valued at $19.99.
  • Michael Fountas of Adel reported a burglary in the 2000 block of Main Street. Items were valued at $605.
  • James Thomas Prine, 27, 708 Greene St., Adel, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for driving under suspension.

December 30, 2016

  • Ronald Morrison of Des Moines reported a burglary in the 1300 block of S. Sixth Street. Items were valued at $610.
  • A male juvenile, 14, of Adel was arrested in the 100 block of S. 10th Street and charged with first-offense possession of controlled substance-marijuana.
  • Holly Powell of Adel said her vehicle was parked in the 1300 block of Prairie Street and was involved in a hit-and-run accident. Damage was estimated at $1,520.
  • A vehicle driven by Andrew Steenhoek of Adel was traveling westbound in the 25000 block of U.S. Highway 6 when it struck a deer. Damage was estimated at $2,500.

December 1, 2016

  • John Lockhart of Dallas Center reported a theft in the 500 block of Greene Street. Items were valued at $800.
  • Kenneth McFarland of Redfield reported criminal mischief in the 800 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. No damage was reported.

December 2, 2016

  • Donna Stark of Adel reported a burglary in the 25000 block of 288th Trail. Nothing was found missing.

December 4, 2016

  • James Lewis Aldrich, 46, 515 W. N Ave., #25, Nevada, was arrested for trespass and fifth-degree theft.
  • Michael Heller of West Des Moines reported a burglary in the 1900 block of Brickyard Road. Items were valued at $1,550.
