In the light of the Dallas County Sheriff's patrol car, the Chrysler that left the roadway and overturned on its passenger side was set right side up early Saturday in Minburn.

A car left the roadway in the 100 block of Fourth Street in Minburn about 6:30 a.m. Saturday and entered some waste ground between the town’s two taverns, turning halfway over and coming to rest on its passenger side.

There were no injuries in the incident, and the vehicle sustained only minor damage, according to the Dallas County Deputy Sheriff who responded to the mishap.

The Minburn Fire Department, Minburn First Responders and Dallas County EMS also responded to the incident and promptly turned the vehicle upright.

The cause of the driver’s loss of control of the vehicle is unknown at this hour, but icy road conditions on U.S. Highway 169 are suspected. Iowa Department of Transportation road crews passed through Minburn shortly after the accident and treated the roadways with brine or a similar deicer.
