PANORA — Sixth-ranked Panorama improved to 10-0 overall and 7-0 in West Central Conference play with a business-like 55-31 win over visiting Ogden Tuesday.
Panorama held only a 12-10 edge after the first eight minutes of play, but after a second eight-minute span the Panthers had opened a 32-16 margin. A 17-10 edge in the third quarter created a 49-26 gulf with the final eight minutes to play, leading to the victory.
Bailey Beckman sank three 3-pointers en route to a game-high 23 points, with Devyn Kemble adding 11 points and Faith Powell seven. Nicole Rolfes dropped a pair of triples for six points, with Hope Wilderman tallying four points and Kellie Prince two.
Nine points from Ellee Laws and eight from Kylie Nichols led Ogden, who fell to 4-5 overall and 1-5 in WCC play.
The Panorama girls are off until they host Des Moines Christian Tuesday, with a home date against West Central Valley Jan. 13. The Panthers will then host Nodaway Valley Jan. 14 for a girls-only set.
