- Dan Sayre reported the theft of a truck hitch receiver from a tool box in a vehicle at 304 N. Cedar St. Sayre said he last saw the hitch in November 2016.
- Tammy Binkley reported a female at her residence requesting to use her phone. Binkley did not know the female and denied her request to use the phone. The officer located the female at 603 S. Mulberry St. The female advised she was fine and did not need any assistance form the officer.
- Callers advised of a suspicious female in the 100 block of N. Elm Street.
- Ryan Murphy brought an injured and sick cat to the LEC. The officer properly disposed of the animal.
- Officers checked on a vehicle experiencing mechanical problems near S. Grimmell Road and W. Russell Street. The officers issued Shawn J. Gifford of Jefferson a citation for driving while suspended. The vehicle was in the traveled portion of the roadway, and the officer had the vehicle towed from the scene.
- An officer assisted the juvenile court officer at the Greene County Courthouse in gathering a juvenile urine collection kit.
- Christina Owens reported a missing purse from 504 N. Maple St. to an officer.
- Regina Romeo came to the LEC and reported that her husband had assaulted her at 504 S. Locust St. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Joseph Thomas Romeo, 46, of Jefferson for domestic abuse assault–serious.
