- Mike Thomas reported a careless driver on 220th Street traveling eastbound toward Jefferson. The officer did not locate the vehicle.
- An officer investigated a backing accident in the 900 block of W. Harrison Street. A 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix, owned by Randy Marshall of Altoona, was legally parked on the north side of the street. A 2009 Chevrolet Malibu, owned and operated by Bonnie Steinfadt of Jefferson, backed out of a private drive and into the Marshall vehicle. Both vehicles reported $500 in damages. Steinfadt was issued a citation for unsafe backing upon a highway.
- Officers investigated a backing accident in the 100 block of N. Olive Street. A 2007 Ford Explorer, owned and operated by Scott Bradley of Jefferson, backed into a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix, owned by Frank Adamson of Scranton. The Adamson vehicle reported $500 in damages, and the Bradley vehicle was undamaged. Bradley was issued a citation for unsafe backing upon a highway.
- Melinda Gallagher reported vehicle tracks in her yard at 703 S. Vine St. It appeared someone drove across her property from S. Vine Street to Russell Street.
- A local retail store reported a theft at 303 N. Elm St. The officer was provided with video of the event, which occurred Feb. 6. The officer is investigating.
- Derek Ott reported that Jake Ball took his cell phone and was refusing to give it back to him. The officer made contact with Ball, retrieved Ott’s cell phone and returned it to him.
- A caller reported an intoxicated male outside of Doc’s Stadium at 113 N. Chestnut St. The allegedly drunken subject caught a ride home before the officer’s arrival.
- An officer assisted The Greene County EMS with a medical call in the 400 block of N. Chestnut Street.
- An officer was requested at the Greene County Medical Center emergency room for an uncooperative patient.
- An officer removed a bat from the residence at 206 S. Oak St.
- Michael Godwin requested an officer at 303 S. Grimmell Road for a reported threat made against his life. Godwin showed the officer a text message from an unknown subject stating the a “hit” had been placed on Godwin. The officer has no evidence to work with in the matter.
