February 6, 2017

  • An officer responded to 1050 J Ave. for an incomplete 911 call. It was determined to be a phone line problem.
  • An officer checked on suspicious activity at the Lincoln Prairie Park.

February 7, 2017

  • An officer was dispatched to Howe Elementary School for an intrusion alarm. It was determined to be employee error.
  • An officer investigated suspicious activity in the 100 block of S. First Street.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders at 202 W. Chestnut St.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders at 102 Pilot St. in Pilot Mound.

February 8, 2016

  • An officer was called to Ogden High School regarding a stolen cellular phone. The phone was located, and no charges were filed.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden Volunteer Fire Department with a carbon monoxide detector that was alarming at 513 S.W. Fifth St. This was a false alarm.
  • An officer arrested Seth Blumberg, 18, of Harcourt for alleged driving while license suspended. The officer took Blumberg to the Boone County Jail.

February 9, 2017

  • An officer responded to an incomplete 911 call from 620 W. Maple St. This was an accidental dial.
  • An officer was asked to perform a welfare check on an Ogden resident. The subject was fine.

February 10, 2017

  • An officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Howe Elementary School. This was accidentally set off by an employee.
  • An officer was asked to look for a semi-tractor-trailer that was driving north on H Avenue from 260th and had crossed the line. The caller was concerned the driver might be tired or intoxicated. The officer located the truck and stopped it traveling westbound in the 500 block of 220th Street. The driver was okay.

February 11, 2017

  • An officer assisted a Boone County Deputy Sheriff with a vehicle that was not stopping northbound on H Avenue from 335 Street.
  • An officer provided a funeral escort from Zion Lutheran Church to Glenwood Cemetery.

February 12, 2017

  • An officer was asked to do a welfare check on an Ogden resident. The subject was fine.
  • An officer received a report of a domestic situation. There were no charges filed, and the male half left the residence for the evening.
  • An officer received a report of suspicious activity at 220 S.W. Fourth St., which is a vacant house. The suspected intruders turned out to be the new renters.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
