  • An officer located an open business door at 407 E. Central St.
  • Ann Sayre reported someone trespassing on her property at 102 E. Washington St. After officers arrived, they arrested Ricky Eugene Comer, 61, of Grand Junction for trespassing. Officers also located a plastic baggy containing marijuana on his person. Comer was subsequently charged with third or subsequent-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana.
  • Zach Claassen reported being harassed on Facebook.
  • An officer removed debris from the roadway on South Elm Street and Edgewood Drive.
  • Officers assisted with an EMS call in the 100 block of W. Washington Street.
  • A traffic stop at the intersection of E. Park and S. Chestnut streets resulted in Rhena Naomi Lane of Jefferson being issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign.
  • Ruby Milbourn reported being locked out of her apartment building at 1216 Westwood Drive. An officer assisted with resolving the issue.
  • An officer responded to Casey’s General Store at 508 N. Elm St. for a possible theft. After investigating the issue, it was determined that no crime was committed.
  • Ann Butler reported a cat stuck in a tree at 612 S. Locust St.
  • Officers responded to 1105 N. Walnut St. for a verbal dispute.
  • Terry Anschutz reported a parking complaint on W. Vest Street.
  • Officers responded to 705 S. Vine St. for an elderly female who was unstable. An officer spoke with Suzanne Eliserio, who said she no longer wanted to be at that residence. It was determined that Susanne was intoxicated. Officers explained to Suzanne the laws regarding public intoxication and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. At midnight it was reported to officers that Susanne left the residence in her vehicle. Officer’s located Susanne in her vehicle in the parking lot at 101 Ram Drive. Suzanne Eliserio, 55, of Altoona was arrested and charged with first-offense OWI.
  • An officer spoke with Chad Louk in the 600 block of N. Elm Street about a noise complaint.
