Perry High School alumni from the decade of the 1970s began gathering late this afternoon in downtown Perry, with the numbers picking up appreciably after 7 p.m.
Food, drinks, music and more are offered from the Otley Cat, Crooked Rail and Hotel Pattee, with revelers stretched throughout the area.
Unofficial early surveys discovered former PHS grads now living in Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Ohio and all across the Midwest were already in attendance.
Hugs, smiles, and lots of laughter has been the common sight and sound through 8:30 p.m. Adult beverages were flowing at a steady pace assuring continued revelry through the remainder of the evening.
