A Celebration of life for John Joseph Beck, 53, of Nevada will be held at Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28. The family invites family and friends to a time of lunch and fellowship to follow at Clover Hall at the Greene County Fairgrounds.
Mr. Beck died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017, at the Story County Hospital in Nevada, Iowa.
He is survived by his siblings, Colleen Gray of Perry, Pat (Gary) Schiltz of Jefferson, Bobbi (Randy) Tarlton of Johnston, Polly (Don) Parker of Bella Vista, Ark., Phillip (Rhonda Coil) Beck of Bagley, Ken Beck of New York, Mary (Bill) Book of Bella Vista, Ark., Therese (Stan) Lohr of Des Moines, Fran (Dan) Bookwalter of Ohio and Maggie (Glenn) Thompson of Perry.
