The Perry swim team has earned a Distinguished Academic Achievement Award from the IGHSAU for their efforts in the classroom. The team was required to post a cumulative GPA of 3.25-4.0 to earn the recognition.
In addition, Vivian Gonzalez, Dannah Karolus, Avery Miner, Breanna Penenger, Anna Ridnour and Sarah Vaughn were all named Raccoon River Conference All-Academic. An athlete must have a 3.25-4.0 GPA, be in grades 10-12, and earn a varsity letter to qualify for the distinction.
