Joseph Allen Warnock was born Nov. 6, 1959, in Perry, Iowa, to Donald Lee and Beth Lydonna (Field) Warnock.

He was a graduate of Perry High School.

Joe was united in marriage to Joanne Nehila in Arizona March 7, 1987.

Joe was trained as a carpenter and painter by Dale Shirbroun and later worked independently as a cabinetmaker and furniture maker.

He was also a member of the Perry Nudgers group.

Throughout his life, Joe was passionate about the outdoors — free-solo climbing in Arizona’s Superstition Mountains in his college years, photographing his friends and family on his Nikon FM and later kayaking Iowa’s rivers and hunting pheasants with his friends and beloved dogs.

He strove every day through his hobbies and intellectual pursuits to improve himself, broaden his perspective and to become a master of his craft.

In death he rejoins his parents, Donald and Beth Warnock.

Left to cherish Joe’s memory are his wife, Joanne Warnock; three sons, Logan, Kaleb and Gavin Warnock; and siblings, Donna (Roy) Butterfield, Linda (John) Jacobsen and Tom Warnock.
