The Perry City Hall has reminded pet owners with cats and dogs over 6 months of age must obtain or renew their annual pet license by Jan. 31 each year. All pet owners living within Perry city limits must license their pets.
Licenses expire each year on Dec. 31 and may be renewed at the McCreary Community Building, 1800 Pattee St.
Owners must show proof of their pets’ rabies vaccinations.
The city license fee is $5 for altered animals and $20 for non-altered animals. A $5 late fee is assessed after Feb. 1.
Annual permits for the Perry Dog Park are also available at the McCreary Community Building.
The Perry Dog Park fee is $20 for the first dog and $10 for each additional dog, with a limit of three dogs. Perry residents must have a current pet license in order to purchase a dog park permit.
Day passes for the dog park are also available for $2 per dog.
