Panthers win two at triangular, enter break 14-1

SAYDEL — The Panorama wrestlers will spend the holidays, in part, knowing their hard work has created a 14-1 dual mark for the season so far.

Panorama topped host Saydel, 60-24, Friday, while also claiming a 55-15 win over ADM. Senior Danny Nordquist, wrestling at 126 pounds, received a forfeit and scored a victory by pin fall to collect career triumph 100 at the triangular.

Gunnar Grunsted (170) and Brady Howard (220) were both double winners, each scoring two pins, with Trevor Carey (182) winning by pin and major decision while Logan Christe (106) won once by decision and once by forfeit.

Noah Kirtley (138) and Dalton Holmes (195) had wins by pin and by forfeit to each finish 2-0, with heavyweight Dan Jensen winning twice by forfeit.

Kaleb Stogdill (152) was 1-1 with a pin, with both Emry Colby (145) and Garret Fox (160) 1-1 by receiving forfeits.

The Panthers left 113 open and competed once at 132, with Wyatt Appleseth winning by pin fall, with Wyatt Clark (120) unable to collect a win in two matches.

Panorama resumes competition Jan. 6 with a visit to the Coon Rapids-Bayard Tournament.
