A three-day dance party is planned for Dec. 27, 28 and 29 in Baldwin Hall at Forest Park Museum, 14581 K Ave. in Perry.
The Dallas County Conservation Board will host the dancing from 1-3 p.m. each day, with music sources ranging from a vintage Victrola to LPs, CDs, music videos and a dance/dance revolution mat.
“We are hoping for a great turnout of multigenerational families and lots of fun,” said Sherry James, Dallas County Conservation Board administrative assistant. “Whether you want to practice your moves for a New Year’s Eve party, shake off a post-Christmas slump or take a trip down memory lane, Baldwin Hall will be the place to be!”
James said several new hands-on activities will also be available in most of the Forest Park Museum buildings during the Wednesday-though-Friday event.
The event is free and open to the public. No pre-registration is required.
