- A caller said a vehicle was blocking his driveway. An officer responded and issued a citation for a parking violation.
- A caller reported seeing a dog “that appears to be neglected.” An officer responded.
- A caller said “her ex” was at “her apartment, causing problems.” An officer responded, and the ex “was asked to leave, and he did so.”
- A caller from the Dallas County Hospital said the staff was “having problems with a patient with mental issues.” Officers responded and “stood by until Dallas County arrived.”
- A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and requested an officer assist him in “attempting to deliver some medication.”
January 25, 2018
- A caller said “she heard the sound of a gunshot on the southwest side of her house.” Officers responded but “did not hear or see anything suspicious.”
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
