January 26, 2018

  • A deputy assisted with a welfare check in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated someone walking on Iowa Highway 144 north of Rippey.
  • Deputies responded to a possible suicidal person in 700 block of Railroad Street East in Grand Junction. The person was transported to Greene County Medical Center.
  • A deputy responded to a 1000 block of Sand Street in Churdan for a civil issue.
  • A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with debris on the road.
  • A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 330th Street and approximately K Avenue.
  • A deputy responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of Harding Street in Churdan.

January 27, 2018

  • A deputy responded to 100 block of N. Chestnut Street in Jefferson for a possible wanted person. Nathaniel Aldrich, 20, was arrested and transported to the Greene County Jail, where he was booked for violation of parole.
  • A deputy responded to the 100 block of Vine Street in Cooper for a possible missing person report.
  • A deputy responded to the 1000 block of Sand Street in Churdan for a possible domestic call.
  • A deputy responded to the 2200 block of E Avenue in rural Greene County for a possible party call. Multiple juveniles and minors were removed from the property. Twenty-eight minors were cited for first-offense possession of alcohol by person 18/19/20 years of age, and eight juveniles were charged with the same violation and released to their parents.

January 28, 2018

  • A deputy investigated a car-versus-deer accident on D Avenue and 140th Street. Sheila Ray Toms, 43, of Lytton, Iowa, was traveling north on D Avenue when a deer struck the driver’s side of her 2005 GMC Denali. Damage was estimated at $600.
  • A deputy assisted the Webster County Sheriff’s office with locating a possible stolen vehicle in Greene County.
