  • A caller said a vehicle “was smoking and had pieces falling off.” The caller was transferred to the Dallas County Sheriff’s office.
  • A caller said “the neighbors who live in the alley across from her” were “constantly letting their German shepherd loose.” An officer responded but did not find the dog.
  • A bus driver with the Perry Community School District entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said a vehicle “passed the bus while the lights and stop arm were out.” The bus driver said “she knew the driver, followed her and spoke with her about what she did.” An officer responded.
  • A caller reported “a dog that has been barking all night and still is barking.” An officer responded and found a dog “without shelter, food or water.” The officer attempted to make contact with the owner of the dog.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said his tenants “have a pit bull that needs to be removed.” An officer responded and “advised him of the eviction process.”
  • A caller from a local retail store “reported a gas drive off that just left now.” An officer responded.
  • An officer of the Perry Police Department taught a DARE class at the Perry Elementary School.
  • Madison Kae Stonehocker, 23, 1618 Willis Ave., Perry, was arrested on a charge of child endangerment.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said “her daughter’s cell phone has gone missing.”
  • A caller said “he just got home and had a break in that occurred today.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said two dogs were running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dogs.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said she “received threatening emails from their father.” An officer responded and explained “the process of obtaining a no-contact order.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
