  • A deputy assisted with a ambulance call in the 900 block of 130th Street of Churdan.

March 1, 2018

  • A deputy investigated a theft in the 1000 block of E. Main Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy assisted with cattle out in the 1500 block of W Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated an identity theft in the 700 block of Q Avenue.
  • A deputy assisted an ambulance in the 700 block of Sand Street in Churdan.
  • A deputy stood by for site survey of a hog confinement on L Avenue near 330th Street.
  • A deputy tried to locate a dog on N Avenue near 150th Street.
  • Melissa Kroupa, 38, of Granger was booked into the jail for failure to appear.
  • Gary Bundy, 44, of Jamaica was booked into the jail for third-degree theft.
  • A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department in the 100 block of N. Grimmell Road with someone who was concerned about the encyclopedia having the word “bomb” in it.
  • A deputy investigated a violation of a no-contact order in the 200 block of Paton Street in Paton.

  • A deputy assisted a motorist on 130th Street near S Avenue.
  • A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with counterfeit $100 bill at Sparky’s.
  • A deputy issued a salvage tag for a deer that was hit at 305th Street and Apple Avenue.
  • A deputy removed debris from the roadway on 230th Street near the S curves.
  • A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 1100 block of 290th Street.
  • A deputy assisted the Iowa Department of Human Services with a home visit in the 600 block of W. Main Street in Grand Junction.
  • Kimberly Hill, 52, of Jefferson was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.
  • A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 240th Street near Scranton.
  • Charles Wolf, 43, of Jefferson was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.
  • A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 600 block of Fourth Street in Rippey.
  • A deputy investigated a car-deer accident on 170th Street near S Avenue. Carleigh Paup, 19, of Churdan struck a deer with her 2012 Chevrolet Malibu. The estimated damage to her vehicle was $3,000.
  • A deputy investigated a car-deer accident on Neola Avenue near 330th Street. Chirsty Laabs, 38, of Yale struck a deer with her 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe, causing an estimated $10,000 in damage.

  • A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a medical call in the 700 block of Wild Rose Lane.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle at the Grand Junction city dump.
  • A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a medical issue at the Greene County Medical Center.
  • A deputy investigated a verbal dispute in the 800 block of Percival Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of Percival Street in Rippey.
  • Cole Eischeid, 19, of Carroll was booked into the jail for first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and first-offense possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A deputy assisted a motorist on 220th Street near K Avenue.
  • A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 300 block of E. Main Street in Grand Junction.
  • Allyn Case, 30, of Jefferson was booked into the Greene County Jail for first-offense OWI, child endangerment and improper registration plate lamp.

March 4, 2018

  • A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 600 block of Lincoln Street in Scranton.
  • A deputy investigated a child custody dispute in the 500 block of S. Wise Street in Paton.
  • A deputy investigated a property-line dispute in the 1600 block of S Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a child custody issue in the 600 block of Lincoln Street in Scranton.
  • A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of E. Main Street in Grand Junction.

March 5, 2018

  • A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 235th Street and Parkland Avenue.
  • A deputy found a broken railroad crossing arm at 230th Street and D Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 1000 block of H Avenue.
  • John Walker, 66, of Guthrie Center was booked into the jail for first-offense OWI, first-offense possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A deputy investigated a railroad crossing arm that someone reported broken on U Avenue near 160th Street. The crossing arm was not broken and was working fine.
  • A deputy investigated a property dispute in the 600 block of Lincoln Street in Scranton.
  • A deputy investigated a civil dispute in the 700 block of Main Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 1000 block of E. Hager Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 800 block of Percival Street in Grand Junction.
