- A caller reported “a dead deer in the middle of the road just north of town.” The caller said “there were also car parts around the carcass.” The Boone County Sheriff’s office was notified, but an officer of the Perry Police Department responded “due to the only deputy being across the county.”
- A caller reported “broken glass outside the back of her apartment.” The caller said “her nextdoor neighbor has been having parties.” An officer responded.
- A caller said “his landlord is trying to remove his dog from his house although he has filled out all the proper paperwork.” An officer responded.
- A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said her dog was lost.
- A caller said her husband “was at her residence, trying to pick up their child, and she didn’t want him to do so.” An officer responded.
- Seth Weesner, 27, 1702 First Ave., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal mischief.
- A caller reported “a recently let go employee that is wandering around the building.” An officer responded but did not find the former employee.
- Officers of the Perry Police Department conducted a funeral escort.
- A caller said “she lost her green card and ID holder yesterday after voting.”
- A caller said her husband “stole her truck.” The caller said “she is homeless, living in her car, and that her truck is gone from the house.” An officer responded.
- A caller “called to report he had taken some bad checks.” An officer responded.
- Tamara Ramirez, 27, 2451 N Ave., Dallas Center, was arrested on a charge of giving false information to an officer and on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of domestic abuse assault.
- A caller said someone “was just at her residence” and “tried to break in” and “said he would return with a gun.” Officers responded.
- A caller “requested assistance in removing squirrel from his residence” The caller “said he has it locked in the bathroom.” Officers responded and found the “squirrel had gone back up in a hole.” An animal trap was loaned to the caller.
