Perry Police Report Nov. 27

  • A caller reported “a suspicious sound at his front door.” The caller said he “believes someone attempted to get in,” but when “he went to turn the front light on,” he “did not see anyone or any suspicious vehicles.” Officers responded, patrolled the area and found all quiet.
  • A man enetered the offices of the Perry Police Department with a credit card he said he found on the street. An officer responded, took possession of the card and made contact with its owner, who later claimed it at the police station.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded, and “it appeared the dog had a wireless fence around the yard.”
  • A caller said someone “keeps showing up at her mom’s and was just parked outside, blocking traffic.” An officer responded and served a no-trespass order to someone.
  • Carlos Alberto Hernandez Salmeron, 21, 2624 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on charged of driving while barred and forgery.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
